The original- S.S.A first preschool founded in 2010. This beautiful center is designed with 1800’s architecture. With a spacious outdoor playground and high ceilings. Each classroom holds 10 students , creating that warm , family intimate environment for our children to feel comfortable to learn. This preschools truly does feels like a home away from home.
The academic year runs from September through June and parents are required to pay for the entire school year regardless of holidays, start dates, inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances and student absences. All parents are required to pay a non- refundable, non-transferable security placement fee and 1st Month tuition to secure their child’s spot at S.S.A. This Security placement fee will be applied to the last month of the student enrollment with proper 2 FULL month written notice provided. (Summer months July/August do not apply towards written notice) Please note, Security Placement fee, 1st month is only refunded/applied in the form of tuition and is applied towards your first and last month’s of your child’s enrollment.
Smart Start Academy’s Central Avenue location offers programs for infants as young as 6 weeks old, two and three day a week full-day preschool and a half-day preschool option for students attending classes five days per week. In addition to our extended nursery and preschool, our Heights location also offers emergency care and social enrichment, an afterschool program for children 36 months of age and older and weekday and weekend sitting for children of all ages. Additional fees are required for parents to take advantage of these additional, optional services. With two-, three- and five-day a week preschool schedule options as well as full and half-day schedules, preschool classes at our Central Avenue location are easier to fit into each family’s busy schedule and preferences.
S.S.A now offers Smart Pick- ups, offering that true V.I.P experience allowing you to never have to leave the comfort of your home in the morning or in the afternoon. Please speak with a Center administrator for further details.

Late Pick up Fees: $1 per minute
Smart Start Academy’s Tuition Policy
Smart Start Academy requires a full academic school year (Sept-June) commitment from all of our families. If commitment is not met, security placement fee, tuition, are forfeited. The security placement fee and 1st month of tuition is not refundable, non-transferable and the security placement fee will only be applied to the last month of student enrollment with proper 2 FULL month’s written notice provided to the center.
